I have fibromyalgia (10+years) and I've finally decided to get an electric mobility scooter but I had no idea there were so many brands out there. I've found a couple of review sites with a few reviews but not enough to help me make an informed decision.  I would appreciate anyone who uses a mobility scooter to tell me about their experiences and what brand/s they have found to be reliable or which to avoid and why.  Like most people, I don't have money to waste on a "lemon".

I'm looking for a portable scooter I can put into my trunk so I can attend large swap meets, go to theme parks, etc.  Just the normal stuff that is so hard to do when you can't walk long distances.  I want one that can travel several miles on a single charge (I believe some get up to 32 miles)--so it would be helpful if you could tell me what kind of mileage your model scooter gets.
