Dsiabled beauty pagent?

Was listening to Tiff Carlson's podcasy No Free Rides. Interesting topicnot certain how I feel about it. I dislike beauty pagents in general so I could be bias but I kinda agree with Tiff on this one. Think it's slightly exploitive just like when little people are use in music videos and such. however in one aspect I really do think it's great for young girls with disabilities to see disabled beauty queens although I get the feeling this is done in a tacky way. Confidence is low for women with disabilities cause society tells us as women that our value is in our looks and you must look a certain way to be "pretty". I would like for that concept to change and applaude things that do that but i dunno about this.

Miss wheelchair also mentions a program in her home state that allows her to work and retain assistance from home healthcare providers. This has been my concern with graduating and considering getting married, but I'll talk more about that later.
