Have you gone and appealed to the school? I would try all the way up to the dean and see about getting some local disability groups to back you up. Who knows maybe psychology professor would also be willing to stand up and explain the realities of it. If you haven't tried all this it's worth a shot.

My son bought a recorder from his college bookstore which has voice recognition. I'm not sure how it actually works, because he hasn't hooked it up to the computer yet---just used the recording part for lectures. ;-)

Beth, instead of taking notes you can ask the professors if you are allowed to tape the classes because it could help possibly, or you can tape the class and write notes too. =o)
