Had a great weekend....Certified 2 new divers and dove with son Austin and his friend...Big Chris. We dove a pair of Sink holes, Blue Grotto & Devils Den. Weather was just perfect. I got a bit freaked out at Devils Den. They have new stairs leading to the water. I'm using my crutches with full equipment on...well after one of the dives going up the narrow stairs that move, about 3/4 the way up my legs just froze! Hee I am 20ft above the water by myself. They only allow one diver on the stairs at a time so I had no back up if I started falling backward...usually task my so n as back up in these situations. Well I just looked up and said to myself...."only 5 stairs to go...don't embarass yourself and made it the rest of the way!

hi joe, i'm glad that you had a good time. i am still going to try diving one of these days, i'm getting better all the time form my fall. it sounds like so much fun but the beauty of it must be amazing. i'm glad that you didn't fall. :) xoxo
Wow, sounds like a fun weekend! I'm jealous, since it's cold and snowy in Chicago!
Hi Joe your trip sounded great, I have dived only once in 1988 on my honeymoon it was fantastic. Glad you can still do this.
