Blind Woman Hits Free Throw

I heard a very cool story about a woman who is blind living in California. Karen Parsegian lost vision in both eyes from a childhood injury. Karen speaks with local children about understanding disability. A few months ago, Karen, a loyal basketball fan, emailed the Sacramento Kings about shooting a free throw at an upcoming game. To her surprise, the Kings invited her to Arco arena for the contest. Not only was it a thrill for her to be on the court, but she hit the shot! This is another reminder of the great things that somebody can accomplish even in the face of adversity.
