Eric Fraser, of Saugus, MA, said today that he has called in hospice assistance and decided against any trying chemotherapy or any other treatment to keep his eight-year old Autistic son, Jeremy, alive. When first diagnosed with cancer, Jeremy had a high chance of survival, in the high 80s to low 90s. However, his mother allegedly failed to get life-saving treatment for the Autistic boy. Doctors have now advised Eric Fraser to focus on making Jeremy's last days comfortable.
Jeremy was diagnosed with non-Hodgkin's Lymphoma in 2006. His mother, Kristen LaBrie, then allegedly changed doctor's appointments a dozen times, failed to administer medications, and didn't pick up medications at the drug store. As a result, Jeremy's cancer has "returned quicker and stronger," according to police.
LaBrie has pleaded not guilty to one count of child endangerment.

WHAT???? ONE COUNT OF CHILD ENDANGERMENT? NOT EVEN CHILD ABUSE? I don't know the law here, but if there is plea bargaining going on, there is some truth (I would think) to the allegations. This is Godless, mindless and horrid beyond measure and I an so enraged I can not stand it.
