Avid readers of the Disabled Politico blog, now's your chance to make a difference: Disaboom is conducting what, to my knowledge, may be the first political poll targeted specifically at individuals with disabilities! Although one in six Americans is living with some sort of disability or functional limitation, politicians rarely take much time to reach out to this minority community.

If you consider yourself a disabled politico, or just a person with a disability and an opinion, please answer the current Disaboom polls by Friday, August 22nd. The more responses are received, the more likely it is that people outside Disaboom will sit up and take notice! Wouldn't it be great to see politicians start making the same effort to include those with disabilities in their campaign events as they make to include those of other minorities?

You don't have to be a Disaboom member to answer the questions, and you're welcome to invite friends and family to participate as well.

Disabled politicos unite-- let's get noticed!
