Today I was driving alone in my new PT Cruiser windows down sun was shining. I had just got done working out with my trainer and feeling good about my workout. I popped in the CD by Joe Nichols (country) the song The Impossible was the first song to play and it made me stop and think back to when I first got hurt. My best friend made me an inspiration picture video of my progress to that song because she new how much I loved it and how much I wanted to have the best outcome for my recovery. She also bought me tickets to his concert. That was when I was just learning to walk again and using the fore arm crutch's. After the concert she took one of my crutch's back stage and told them how I was in an auto accident in April of 2003 and broke my back and was learning to walk again after being paralyzed. She told them that Joe Nichols The Impossible was my song of inspiration and Joe Nichols signed my crutch. That was in November of 2004 and that was the last time I used those crutch's. I didn't want to lose that signature. So as I listened to that song today I think about how lucky I am to have the people in my life that I do. I walk today with the assistance of a cane and feel that I can get stronger just by working harder. The chance given to be alive and walking and a little inspiration in that song has gone a long way. I just wonder what others use as inspiration in there life. Its always seems its something so simple that gives such inspiration and gift of hope. God bless.
