I have found a place that I can visit where I am the same as everyone else. I don't have to lie to them about how I feel. I don't have to keep secrets or hide the facts that I am living in Hell on earth because there are thousands of you that are just the same or much worse off than I am.
It is so comforting to know that in some small way that I may be able to touch someone on Disaboom by my suppot, prayers, email, or just talking via these Blogs. I didn't know about Disaboom and found it quit by accident. I know that all tings happen for a reason and this another reason to believe that.
I have already met several very good people that I consider friends. We have corrosponded and found out much about each other and I am amazed by their courage and inner strength. I rarely complain but this site gave me the opportunity to vent my spleen when i was really feeling down and the people that commented back helped me to get back where I belong. My past history is probably much different the 99% of you reading this Blog but one thing we share in common is that in some way we are disabled. That is what makes us bonded and keeps the fabric of this site held together.
Over the nexr months and years, I hope to meet many more of you and find out about you. Listening to your stories gives me courage to continue on because you show courage in your lives. And as I said many, many of you are much worse off then I am with the type and severity of your disabilities.
As one of my friends stated, "I pray each day for all the people on Disaboom". That is my intention too. You have all been added to my prayer list for as long as I live. You ALL have just become my NEW BEST FRIENDS FOREVER (BFF). Thank you and God Bless you all.
