hi.....I'm new at this.....65 y. o. female, termed a ' functional paraplegic" since a horse accident 25 years ago.I walk....short distances....with braces....have no feeling below the waist ( L3-4 }....intermittant cath.....but for the most part...have a manageable life. I have three grown kids......managed notjust one....but two ten year marriages.....now live alone...with various cats.....with which to express myself { MUCH more sucessfully than with the men in my marriages ! } It seems nice to have a site to go to where we can share our sometimes unique experiences....just feel understood, if nothig else......anyway....glad to be here !!

Norma, it was good of you to drop by my place again, thanks. How did you do with this hurricane? I don't know where Kaufman is, but we've got lots of friends in Huntsville north of Houston and sounds like they got off the hook this time again. Hope you and family and all the critters are doing well! Abe Munder
