Rhuematoid Arthritis

2/19/2008 at 09:17 PM

I've been lving with my RA since I was 11, I am now 27, so that's over  17 years now. And though I have had many great supporters in my life, such as family and friends, I have yet to actually meet 1 person, my age, who has the same disease. It gets lonely not having any one to relate to about something that affects every aspect of your life. So I guess what I'm wondering is this...is there anyone who can relate, or am I doomed to go through this all by myself, for the rest of my life? I know that I've got my family and friends, but no matter how great they are, anad matter how much they "understand", they really can't ever truly understand. It would just be nice to have that.

That's all.
