An Ode to My Wheelchair

When I wake up,
You're right there by my side
After my shower,
You wait for me to dry
My sturdy companion
You're always there for me

Except for that time
when I hopped onto the
bench in that park at the
top of the big hill and
forgot to set your brake
and you rolled two
hundred feet away

You weren't there that day.
