I *Heart* Bertoli Frozen Pasta

I've been in love with Bertoli frozen pasta ever since it came out on the food market a few years ago. It's a great invention, as it's innovative in the way pre-cooked food can be sold and re-warmed (I'll explain later). Plus, since my fingers are near-useless, the little to zero effort required to make this tasty pasta is so unbelievably enchanting.

You see, the Bertoli peeps cook the pasta, the sauce, then freeze it all in these tiny-medium sized clumps, which are all frozen by being encased in an ice capsule. This is the ingenious part, you see. It's hella cool because all you need to do is cut open the bag, pour all the contents into a skillet, cover, and simmer on medium. That's it. Easy peasy. Finito. No fiddling with finding a liquid measuring cup to add a 1/4 cup of water or anything; nope. That step isn't even required. As the frozen ice capsules melt, they turn into water, then steam (thanks to the cover), reheating the pasta, meat, and sauce perfectly. OT therapists should really get a business deal with the Bertoli people and start recommending new quads, stroke victims, and anyone else in OT with hand issues, to use this stuff.

Not only is it easy, it's pretty healthy, it tastes awesome, and it's actually gourmet. I actually have their Chicken Florentine (chopped-up chicken breasts and spinach) & Farafalle pasta in my freezer right now, calling my name. It comes with a to-die-for parmesean white sauce (so good). And if you go here, it even tells you which wines go best with whichever pasta you buy. Hmmm, it recommends a nice cold glass of Pinot for my pasta. Interesting.

Now, for a mere $8 or so, is this company cool or what?
