The past two weeks have been a rushed, tanning, tinting, and waxing phenomenon for me. you guys. My boyfriend just returned from the South Pacific last Weds, and being the devoted girlfriend I am, not to mention being uber-girly and having spring fever on top of all that, I plopped down over $125 to get the whooooole nine yards done to my most awesome bod.
Here's what I had done: 1) Jergen's Body Glow tanning lotion for "fair skin tones?" Check! 2) Waxed, super arched eyebrows by my fax wax-girl Stacy? Check! 3) Light-brown tint applied to my eyebrows so my nearly-invisible eyebrows can actually be seen? Check! 4) Full Brazilian wax to make my nether-regions "Playboy-esque?" Check! (bonus point of being paralyzed...barely any pain) 4) Shaved legs? Check!
Ok, so now that the whole regime has been completed....now the UP-KEEP (bleh!) must commence. Not sure what I'm willing to put a whole lot of $ down each 6 weeks for....the wax, the tint? The eyebrows are a no-brainer. But the rest....the tan....? Not sure.
I sure get a whole lot of compliments though whenever I get all tan and glowy. And the Jergen's isn't that spendy. Only about $5/tube. So maybe the tan will stay. It's funny, the only celebs who can really, honestly pull-off the sexy-pale gothy look are Dita Von Teese and Christina Ricci. American men usually just simply adore tanned ladies. And since I like attracting said, straight American guys, well...let's just say you can't catch the fish without the bait.
Point of this post? WOMEN IN WHEELCHAIRS CARE ABOUT THEIR LOOKS TOO! :)

God I love Brazil.
so does my bf. yummms :)
Not having the bonus of being paralyzed, not sure I'd be brave enough to have a Brazilian done, tho the thought has crossed my mind. How painful is it? Would a bottle of Neet not achieve the same without the pain?
neet is less painful, but i dont like the burning smell/feeling its bleaching properties give. brazilians hurt much more....but...they last longer. 6 weeks.
I will take that into consideration, if I ever find the nerve to try a Brazilian. Still sounds OUCHIE!
