A Photo Shoot To Help Me Feel Pretty

I'd post the pics, but he (the photographer) hasn't sent them to me yet. I can say though that the photo shoot I did today helped me feel immensely beautiful. Some of you may think, "Well, why does she need that? She's gorgeous!?" Well, not so fast Charlie Brown. I recently broke up with a guy who stopped being attracted to me. Nothing hurts your ego more than that, disabled or perfectly able-bodied. It sucks major donkey balls.

The photographer is a longtime friend of mine and is currently working on a VERY cool "Alice in Wonderland" project, where he showcases a variety of different "Alice's:" Black Alice's, disabled Alice's, male Alice's, etc. I, obviously, was the disabled Alice. We did the part in the movie/book where Alice is trying to get out of Wonderland but must climb up a huge flight of stairs, and since I'm in the chair, the picture is even more ironic/frustrating for Alice, or better yet, a seemingly impossible task. He Photoshops all the "background" noise into the photos after the shoot, so we just used a basic brown wall for the background and I backed-up against it.

After the shoot we looked at all the pics on his camera and they were great! We also played around and did some fun "pin-up" shots from my chair. Those especially turned out fabbie. I've lost about 10 lbs lately, so that's made my thighs much more photogenic (no more cellulite! w00t!). I never thought I'd look that sexy while in my chair, but no, I can pull it off quite nicely.

So today, I'm in "Tiff rocks" mode. It may be raining outside, but inside my cozy condo, the candles are lit and I'm feeling totally, 100% sublime.

PS. My triple-barrel curling iron is my new best friend.
