    Fibromyalgia is a non life threatening condition. It is considered non progressive but most persons experience chronic symptoms of varying degrees with periodic flares of symptoms. Due to the pain, depression and lack of sleep, some persons with Fibromyalgia experience difficulty at work or home. There is exciting research in this area and better ways to diagnose and treat may be just around the corner.
