What you’re witnessing is a fusion of two different relationships coming together. I’m talking about couples who are not only in committed, loving relationships, but couples who are also one another’s workout partner. It’s a trend that’s growing more and more popular.
Will It Work?Deciding if you and your significant other (SO) have the goods to be good compatible workout partners is the first thing you must discuss. Generally, if you’re a couple, your relationship should be proof enough that you can work out together. But if you have different abilities and/or energy levels, or different preferences in the types of exercises you do, maybe coupling up for your workouts isn’t a good idea.
There are a multitude of benefits to working out together, too.
