This is a picture of my son's Student Convocation Award Ceremony. These are only the students who received awards, not the whole class of 73. My son received 6 scholarships this night. We are so proud of him!

My lover man

Cooper lives in a pen behind our house. I feel bad about this, but he doesn't get along with my cat. Plus, he is not housebroken. We have tried, but nothing worked. He has a double insulated dog house with straw, a heated water bowl, an auto-feeder for his dog food and we put up plywood in the winter for the wind and snow. He comes in every night in the winter after his walk. He has blankets to lay on and I have to visit with him every night. He loves and craves attention. Who can resist those ears? He comes inside in the summertime too, when it's hot. I wish he could live inside, because I know he would be my constant companion.

Travis got this deer at 9 a.m. opening day, November 15, 2007. It was a 3-pointer, originally a 4-point, but it had lost one of it's tines.

The four kids on the left are actually my great-nieces and great-nephews. Then me, Travis and Connor on the right. Don't you just love Trav's hair? I begged and pleaded with him to get a haircut. He finally got one at school of all places, from his friends. They all cut each other's hair at lunch time one day. Except they only gave Trav a reverse Mohawk, with one bald stripe from front to back. His brother cut it at all when they got home. I nearly died when I got home later and saw all that hair gone!

Pizz loves to go outside, but I have to sit with him. He used to sneak out all the time and he spent a few nights outside. I found if I took him outside regularly, usually once or twice a day, he doesn't sneak outside, He loves to eat grass, of all things.

Luminaries 2007. My dad had bladder cancer in 1972, my mom had breast cancer in 1991 and I had lymphoma in 2005. We are all survivors.

My sister, Peggy, her husband, Mike, my dad and my mom at Relay in June of 2007. It was soooooo hot that day, about 95 degrees. We were miserable, but we walked around the track many times.
