Hello -

    Have been keeping my eye on this site for awhile & and finally got time to register.  I'm in the final semester of my social work program and will soon graduate with my BSW!  I have been active in disability awareness on campus and served as co-president of the disabled students group.  Before my journey to becoming a social worker I spent 3 yrs. as a graphic design major. Art is a irreplacable therapy for my spirit.  I'll download a few bits of my art at a later date.  As you can see from my photo I am a proud bald beauty.  For those of you who are wondering I shave my head as a matter of choice.  I loathe society's standards of beauty and narrow definition of what it means to be woman. I take every opportunity to challenge those preconceptions.  Obviously as a social work major I hate social injustice and hope to build a career in advocacy.  At the moment I am interning at an advocacy organization for older adults. I consider myself a quite rebel, the type who sits back and builds their campaign against an injust and then suddenly show's up out of no where with a whooooole lot to say. Obviously there's alot more to me then this small paraghraph of words, however I believe the best way to get to know someone is overtime.  Some of my oldest friends still suprise me with new facets of their personality after yrs. of friendship soooo
