I have never used anything,but a standard foam cushion, so I didn't know what a pleasure I was missing out on.  Once I first started using the VARILITE Reflex cushion- It was like sitting on a cloud! The benefits of so much support and comfort are great! I had a really bad back ache the other day and by the end of the day my back was feeling much better WITHOUT having to take any pain meds or muscle relaxers!!
