Treatment and Prognosis for RSD
While there is no cure for Complex Regional Pain Syndrome, there are treatments aimed at relieving painful CRPS symptoms. The prognosis for CRPS varies from person to person. Spontaneous remission from symptoms may occur in some patients with RSD.
Complex Regional Pain Syndrome
Complex regional pain syndrome (CRPS) or RSD is a chronic pain condition with continuous, intense pain that gets worse rather than better over time. CRPS most often affects one of the arms, legs, hands, or feet.� The exact cause of RSD is still unknown.
