Across the country, the field of naturopathy is experiencing a resurgence.  Naturopathy courses are post-graduate and require a bachelor’s degree in a related field as part of its admission policy.

Naturopathy Physician
This is a four-year-naturopathy course where graduates become primary care physicians with a focus in naturopathy.  Graduates must pass the national Naturopathic Licensing Examination (NPLEX) before they can practice.

The four-year naturopathy course combines the teachings of traditional medicine with the philosophies and history of naturopathy, and provides an opportunity for a new generation of healers.

Accredited Naturopathy Colleges
Only a few universities offer the four-year naturopathy course, which means most students will need to relocate.  This coupled with the high tuition might be problematic for many individuals with families and limited financial resources.

The two-year traditional naturopathy treatment course is based on the premise that the body has an innate ability to heal itself and therefore treatments do not include medication, surgery, or invasive procedures.

Online Naturopathy Course
The two-year naturopathy course follows the online distant learning formats, which eliminate the need to fit school into a busy schedule.

The two-year naturopathy course is completed in half the time and at a cost substantially below that of the four-year naturopathy course.

Certification Demonstrates Proficiency
Graduates of the two-year naturopathy course may work in states that do not require licensure, or naturopathy doctors credentials.  However, most graduates take the national certification exam to demonstrate proficiency in the field.

Before you enroll, explore your options, and pick the naturopathy course that is best suited in meeting your career goals.
