Hello diamonddog,
Apart from being partially off-topic, your statement that "On the political note: Not one candidate has said anything for disabilities." has problems. Below are three links which directly prove your statement is inaccurate.
http://www.barackobama.com/issues/disabilities/
http://www.hillaryclinton.com/news/speech/view/?id=4045
Additionally, while not quite as emphatic as the two links above,
http://www.johnmccain.com/Informing/Issues/ If you look under the health care reform section and veterans issues section, there are a number of points which are very consistent with a disability agenda mindset.

I wish I lived near you, as I would be happy to take these cases on. Unfortunately, some people disabilities feel guilty about filing a lawsuit. There must be an attorney in your area that would be willing to handle this type a case. It sounds open and shut. You are also go to court and file a lawsuit on your own behalf. If you do not have much money, you can even get the fees waived. Every court has a slightly different procedure, but usually the filing clerks are quite helpful.
Good luck!

ArkanzanWheeler: You all are talking about turning these people in, the question I have is turn them in to who? O'Reilly's Autoparts stores here have 32" isles, my chair will not fit but the store manager states they are within regulation. I have tried to even email the main company, ADA website, and local government offices and I can not find anyone who will actually do anything! The McCain Mall here is the same way, there are stores in it with narrow isles. Even big names stores like Dillards (I was there with my gf at the time, otherwise I would never go there) have narrow isles in parts of the store. If someone has a 1800 number I will put it in my cell phone and give them some work...

I did try to contact a couple "disability" lawyers but they deal mostly with Social Security and not ADA. I am not really into taking people to court, I just want the problems fixed, but if that is what I have to do then that is what I will have to look into.

Sorry I am such a nurd but there is a national building code also and a 32" inch isle does not even match fire code much less the ADA. Under mere firecode nationally there needs to be36 inchesh of unobstructed space in isles and exits. So the places your talking about Lisel do not meet fire code so report it. I am not into taking people or a what ever to court but know wht I do get a bit pissed at over weight people and bike riders sutting me off at the one evevator I can use at my transit station all other access is blocked by trains it all meets codes and the law and has a design award it look purdy but is it usable for me nope.
