I can only suggest to ask as many questions as you can to the doctors. Also take notes & keep a journal. My brother was in an accident Thanksgiving of 2006 he was 27 at the time and the doctors said that age is on his side.
Before you leave the hospital find out about Therapy you need to know up front & get as much information front the Neurolist (sp) you can.
I dont know what type of insurance you have. My brother didn't have any so he is now on the state funded. (medicar) they will only pay for 1 - 2 sessions a week for 6 weeks and then they have to reevaluate him. (theropy is for physical therapy only no speech or occupational.
He is unable to use the left side of his body right now but is getting better. Sunday we put a brace on his left leg and he is able to walk with assistance.
Remember all cases are different.
Be patient, pray & I wish you the best.
It is a long road and I hope yours has less curves and bumps then ours did.

The aggression will get better. My brother did alot of thrashing/ throwing him self around. Once they found the right medication for the trama it subsided.
