Ok so I have my left foot amputated below the knee. Everything else about me as normal as it ever was. It seems like whenever I go out and meet a woman, either specifically or at random, I get the same question. Something along the lines of "does your dick still work?". They usually aren't that blunt and they often try thier hardest to at least wait an hour before they ask, but you can almost see them asking the question in thier head. Quick glances to the region and the smell of burnt rubber from wheels spinning. You know what I mean? It happens to me so often, I'm wondering if im the only on it happens to. Let me know if it's just me. Thanks.

Mike, you have to start hanging around places that require women to have at least a passible I.Q.   What in the world would losing a limb have to do with sexual function?  I can understand with someone with paralysis, but missing part of your leg?     Any woman who would ask that question is just plain dumb.   Maybe you are just reading too much into things.  Have you been with a woman since your injury?  Are you worrying about performance issues?  If you are ok that way, just be happy that they are thinking of you as a sexual being and show them how well you can do.

 

I'm not trying to make light of your situation, Mike.  I have been there myself.  The irony of my situation is that I can't move anything below my neck, but I get awe-inspiring reflex erections, and can maintain as long as there is stimulation.   I say if you have all these women falling all over you, that you start showing your stuff, and keep us all posted in a blog.  (Details, we want details!)

 Hey there, I'm a female and have been a RBK amputee for almost 7 years...I have had men ask me "How do you have sex?" I say to them..."How do YOU have sex!?" this shuts 'em up.  

You're just missing your foot and they think you can't have sex? What the hell is wrong with the world? If I was in your position and some girl asked me a question like that I would just shrug and say " well I guess you're never going to find out" and walk off or " Despite popular belief the penis is not actually connected to the foot. " If a woman even questions your ability in the bedroom because of your amputation that's warning bells that she isn't worth the time. I'm an above knee amputee and I've had people ask me how I have sex a few times. This usually comes from my boyfriend's buddies when they had a few too many beers. The response is usually " The same way as you, only better." or " Why are you asking? I'm not sleeping with you."Or I tease our buddies by explaining the birds and the bees to them. Once my mother's co-worker had the nerve to ask her if I could have sex. I cracked up when she told me about it. My mother told the woman. " Well she lives with her boyfriend and she's 21 she can do what ever the hell she wants."

 

whether your lower region or not shouldn't make a difference to a woman if she has any compassion or actual true intentions.....i agree with previous responses saying you need to go somewhere else to find companionship...these "ladies" are not developed enough to handle a true relationship with anyone else but themselves. So let them go it alone but dont put it on urself.  Do you have feelings, can you speak?, can you function on an every day level and deal with your handicap for yourself as best as you can?...these are the important factors in your life and anybody else who cant, well wait till it happens to them......some kind of disability happens you just have to adjust and deal.  As my Simper fi son would say "suck it up". you sound like you are dealing really well where most would not.  Dont let other simple minded people second guess yourself.

It sounds like you are around a bunch of ignorant people. They have some nerve asking a question like that.

You should only have those in your life who prove they deserve to be there.  If you give people all of you, and they take and take, not giving anything back, it's time to move on.  I can't believe the nerve some people have. I'm sorry that happened to you.
