    • hello im a 31 y/o female , ive been having these weird pains in my upper legs and into the knees, and sometimes in my arm were the bone runs along int othe fingers and up to the elbow, the pain seems to be worse in the mornings and sometimes at night , but i noticesed that after moving around its ok i really dont feel much , but when i stop the pain starts up again in my legs . i know my mother has bone and joint disease and her doc said it was heretory and im thinking my grand mother (her mom) had it also . i just cant remeber if she said if it was rheumatoid arthisit or not . i also have pain around my rib cage , like if u touch it feels tender . same with my legs if u touch it its srota tender to the touch. i was also having awhile back charlie horses in my right calf alot. but that sorta stopped now. i feel tired at times like i just drug a bolder up a hill . anyways dunno if this sounds like rheumatoid arthitis or not ? thank you for your input !

. i also have a tumor in my uterus it was the size of a 12wk preg. but that was about 2 yrs ago . wondering if that might be part of the problem with the leg pains /achey feeling . also its almost like when you get a flu and your achey all over, that type of pain !!!!!

    • Dear ladybelle31:  Your symptoms suggest many illnesse; rheumatological, immunological, carcenagenic, etc.  While we are here to help and suport each other, share our experiences and just plain vent on occasion, it is not a good idea to get your diagnosis from a bulletin board on the web.  A few people have medical training (there are some great nurses around, for example), but no matter how medically averse you may be, a doctor is the best diagnostician.

Many of us have had experiences where we were incorrectly diagnosed, not diagnosed, ignored, etc., but the fact remains that we can't give you the physical, x-ray and blood examinations that are required for a good diagnosis.   If your current doctor (if you have one) is not satisfactory, find a new one.  Do not stop.  You need to investigate your body because many illnesses can of course be treated, and some can grow worse without treatment.

I don't want to dictate your actions, by any means, and I feel strongly for what you are going through.  Bit it is my suggestion that you first get some professisonal input into your situation,  and then evaluate it in terms of what others here and elsewhere may have experienced.  Good luck! ! !

    • Hi Lady welcome.  Those symptoms could be a lot of things.  Have you gone to your doctor about it.  I have systemic lupus and I have problems with pain every single day.  The mornings are the worst.  Sleeping in the same spot for hours it's hard to get going in the morning. Some times I need a little help. Your body is connected to itself so it's not uncommon for pain to travel.  I have a regular doctor and a Rheumatologist. It could be some what hereditary. Could be Rheumatoid Arthritis, Lupus, Fibro, to just lifes aches and pains.  Going to the doctor and explaining your symptoms and getting checked out would be the first step in finding out.
      Good Luck to you.

    •  Sorry, ladybelle31 if there was a misunderstanding.  We have so many folks here, with so many differerent disabilities and levels of medical experience and also medical blunder that I like to try to make sure that anyone I hear of who might need help is going to get it.  I am glad you are working with a doctor, altough while it's not for me to judge, a more aware doc could perhaps deal with the multiplicity of your symptoms. I would like to think that the doctor is the first place to discuss symptoms, so that he/she has a complete picture.  But it ain't a perfect world! !  We all need to relate with our doctors in the ways we are most comfortable, and in the ways that they allow us (which is unfortunate because many cut off the avenue of communication).  But anyway, I still wish you good luck in working with your various ills and will hope that you can work out the core issues.
