    •   I am doing thesis research on Outward Bound and the Hearing-Impaired.

This is an informal poll created out of curiousity and will not be added to thesis.

All are welcome to contribute to poll.

      1)  Are you hearing, hard of hearing or deaf?

      2)  Are you able-bodied or disabled?

      3)  Are you familiar with Outward Bound, an outdoor adventure company?

      4)  Would you participate in a 10 - 30 day program in the wilderness for fun,

rehabilitation, or behavior modification as an adult, or young adult?

NOTE:  If youare disabled, it is a given that all your needs would be met to

      enable you to participate.

      5)  If you are a parent or guardian, would you consider sending a family member?

    • I.  I am Deaf
      2. Able-Bodied
      3. Yes, I've heard of Outward Bound. It's not just in the United States.
      4. NO. You don't need to travel some where to be able to get the same benefits at home without undoing your regular daily routine.  I think it's a great program though.  I also know it's not cheap to do. I'm aware of the Pilot Program.
      5. No Children
