      Good morning fibro friends,

it is a sunny morning and going to get in the 70's today.. I am so happy.. Even when I cannot get out because of fatigue the sun make me happy....

I so agree with eating a whole food plan.... For me I do Kay Sheppard’s food plan for food addiction, no flour sugar wheat alcohol and mostly no refined foods... it works well for me ...of course being a food addict any excuse will set me off to having that dry toast... I have been abstaining for 20 months and have been at goal weight for 4 months. now I have to weigh in once a week to make sure I am stabilizing my weight...

I have no hunger or cravings yet enjoy three delicious meals with a weighed and measured fruit and dairy at bedtime...

I suffer from Adrenal fatigue... that took too long getting diagnosed. by the FMS/F centers mentioned earlier....

This disease takes a lot of work to follow through with all the symptoms. So I do when I can... and I am getting saner, he,he

      hugs Martha

    • Leisl,

Who gives a crap if you've had enough from people who do not provide you PROOF.  Nobody here is required to write only what pleases you.  Seen alot of your attacks on members here for this "no proof" garbage.  Peter has shared what helped him as many of the rest of us do and that is the only proof we care about.

Um, he actually posted that he had "proven" something. I'm sorry that you don't care that these things don't subject themselves to proof; but hey! it's your money. But I have just as much of a right to call people on their false claims as anyone else. Also? in no way have I "attacked" anyone. You don't like critical thinking? How very sad.

Also of note, I was concerned about his posts being sales pitches and, as it turns out, I was right. He has admitted that he sells Herbalife. For a look at the practices of that company and the myriad lawsuits filed against it, here's a google report. So, still think what I had to say was "garbage"?

      Deareast Liesel,

I don't think that it's" what "you say as much as it is "how", you say it. I have seen you engage in personal attacks on here and often. For such an educated person, you're not presenting yourself or disaboom well. You can "Blog", and let other's do the same without personal attacks just because YOU don't agree, can't you?

It's ridiculous! Know when to stop! State your opinion and STOP! Let others have their opinions w/o a bunch of sarcasm and snyde, down right mean remarks. No one's paying attention to the point that you're trying to get across because they're too busy paying attention to the way you are presenting yourself and information and it's not attractive or mature at all.Maybe you should sit back and read some of what you have written. It isn't "what 'you are saying but "how'.There's no reason to push a point as far as you do!

I,too, have had enough!! Bonnie is awesome and very knowledgeable.I get a lot of PM's regarding her.Yeah Sherry! I agree! I watched that whole other display of awful behavior in "Should Parents be Allowed to Deny Children Medical Attention", and then, again.with the accupuncture issue.By the way, Accupuncture worked very well for me and I did not believe that it would at all! There's your PROOF-my word! Also, I'm wondering why you said nothing to me when I stated that I watched my grandfathers cancerous tumor be CURED with ALTERNATIVE MEDICINE.

You have your story and experiences and others have theirs and guess what? They're all different! What worked for me,Bonnie, other's may not work for you and that's fine. What worked for you may not work for other's.Just seems like being as educated as you are that you would know a more effective way of speaking, getting your point across.

Clearly there is if people are still being taken in by con artists.

Again, for the umpteenth time, this is NOT proof. Anecdotal evidence does not mean the same as scientific evidence. I have no problem with anyone spending their money any way they see fit, but I will not stand back and watch false claims made that have the potential to do harm to others.

I've actually never said anything about the fibro diet, your dietary support, nothing. The only point I made in this thread was that there was a person who was clearly selling something and making false claims. And you know what? I was right. Just see the link I posted to ArizonaSherry for the criminal practices of the company that man sells for.

    • Peter I am very inerested! I have had great difficulty sleeping for the last year, do you think this could be attributed to diet? This seems to be my last hurdle to overcoming my fibro, I have come a long way since I was diagnosed in Nov of 07. I have stopped smoking and drastically cut down my caffeine and alcohol intake and also changed diet to include greens and more fruit. However, I have not cut out all chocolate, junk and fried food. Will I need to do this to imrove my sleep? Thank You!! Hunter
