    • Just wondering how many found Benzo type drugs (Valium, BusPar, Xanax, exc.) to help tinnitus, even if you actually have used them for a differant reason.

In may case I find that they do reduce the volume of my tinnitus a lot - and when combined with Lipo-Flavonoid, it's not quite - but almost totally gone!

I have read plenty of places they Benzos do help some with tinnitus, but not all that many.

So just as a sort of un-offical poll - curious just how many it has help.

Do Benzo type drugs (Valium, BusPar, Xanax, exc.) reduce the Volume of your tinnitus (Ringing or buzzing in the ear)?

      • I do not have tinnitus (0%)
      • I don't know because I have never used this type of medication (0%)
      • They help a little, but not much (0%)
      • They help a LOT (100%)
      • They actually make my tinnitus a little LOUDER (0%)

    • I've found that 0.5 mg of Atavan, prescribed to abort attacks of vertigo reduces my tinnitus a great deal. Sometimes I have to take as much as 1 mg to get adequate relief; but it seems to do the job.
