    • In a recent unrelated thread, several folks mentioed some apparently similar products that have been giving them topical pain relief for conditions like Degenerative Joint Disease.  They are, "Bioflexor," "Biofreeze," and "Freeze-It."  Non-prescription meds, they have helped some  people with pain.  I have not personally tried them.  See "The Disaboom Ghost" thread for more info, but I thought I would pass this along under a separate heading as several people seem to have found some real help here.  Remember, not everything works for everyone, and this is just a thought to share for those who would care to try it.  Best, Bonnie

      Hi Bonnie!

Thank You for separating this out from the other thread; I hope others can use it as well. When I went to Walgreen's today to pick up that, "Freeze-It," I put some on my knees and WOWZA!! Good stuff! It is pretty much like the Biofreeze that my VA Buddy uses, it has the same active ingredient, and it is better than any of the Tylenol and Ibuprofen that I have been taking; at least at over-the-counter levels. When I see my doctor on the 24th he may put me on prescription levels of NSAID's like Ibuprofen that will help my degenerative joint disease even more; we'll see. Until then, this Freeze-It stuff is helping for a couple of hours at a time.

      Kudos!

      Tom Weiss.
