  • I'm new to this disaboom thing. I am an right side AKA. I was in a motorcycle accident. I was hit by a car and my right leg was ripped off by the guard rail, and my left leg was mangled due to aa car running me over after the accident. I am 24 yrs old now but this happened when I was only 20. At the time I thought it was the end of the world but now I see it's not so bad. It could've always been worse. So I thank God he gave me another chance at life.

  • Welcome Weezie!!  I'm a LBE since 11/20/2000 from a auto accident.  I'm 40 but consider myself to be young.  i work as a lab tech at a hosp.  Before my amp I used to play some guitar in a friends band.  May not be able to play guitar anymore but have not lost my love for music.

    I'm 21, lost my leg (high AK) in a road accident in November 04 - when I was 17. It's been quite a journey, but life's back on track now (almost!)

  • I am a 42 year old, not an amp, but I was just diagnosed with Lupus.  I am having a hard time with pain, and I really don't realize what life is handing me, but every day is different.  I worked as a homecare personal support worker, before my stay in the hospital, but I have not worked since.  I hope to work some time in my life, I may try volunteering, depends on how things go, whether the pain settles down.  Well just thought I would write somebody in my age group.  If you would like to write back, let me know, I come in here every so often.  Petparent

    Well dave I'm into VW and Audi cars. So anything that is tasteful on them I'm into it.
