I do not desire to take Nsaids anymore. I believe the Ibuprofen might be causing all the problems in my stomach/colon. It is a serious chronic problem. Anything natural out there without the possible dangerous side effects for Arthritis inflammation?? I have Arthritis in all joints but severely in my lumbar and cervical spine. Help please....
Thanks,
~Sherry
There are a lot of herbal remedies specific for inflamation, as well as foods.
Anything that has a high level of Omega three fatty acids seems to help. Foods like sweet potatoes and salmon seem good, while tomatoes seem to make things a bit worse.
I've found eating spicy foods helps quite a bit, and I have a friend who swears by turmeric capsules.
Ginger is said to help as well, but large amounts of ginger can act as a blood thinner, so don't go whole hog if you are already taking such a thing.
Here are a few websites on the topic of food.herbs and thier use as an anitinflammatory

Hi Ottergal,
Thank you so much for all the information, ideas and links. I saved the first link to favorites and plan to get Turmeric and ginger capsules as soon as I can. I take Sunchlorella(green algae) which is loaded with omega 3 and 6. I appreciate your reply.
