I saw this thread earlier but wanted to think about it. I think my greatest success story has been going back to work (teaching college) two months post strokes. Everyone was shocked I'd even consider it, much less do it successfully. Of course, you'd have to ask my students how successful I actually was.
"Don't bitch about the cards ya got, just play the hand you were dealt" I like that!. Thats usually how i am but lately its been hard. thanks for your story.

That's easy to do when we have more failures than accomplishments, or think we do. I get that way about the use of my hands, sometimes. Usually, though, when I'm running late for work. So.... I am getting frustrated at the lack of dexterity while I am getting ready to do something I am supremely lucky to be able to do. Silly human!

I made it to the office in 35 minutes this morning. That was including a stop for my bagel and coffee. Wahoo!
