  • Can I use first person if I am inserting a personal interview?

     

    This is a research essay

  • i wouldnt i would use the person name if possible

    if not then you can use first person and or subject

    Here is the part of the essay where I incorperate the interview:

     

     

                 To get an idea of how much the public accepts acupunture.I  interviewed  Aundra Mink, the receptionist of Whole Health Center in Colorado. Aundra had  been recieveing acupunture for the last five months making her the perfect  candidate to interview.          The first question I asked her was: How has acupunture helped  you? Aundra responded with, “I use acupunture regularly for my general health  needs. Additionally, it is vital to me as an athlete. Western Doctors couldn’t give

    This way you do not have to use "I" in the essay, but you would keep it there for the quote.
