Eww. I hardly watched any TV (anymore, for 5 years), but since I'm stuck in bed I'm stuck with my TV too. (Had to actually WATCH while my computer was away.)
Well, as I may have mentioned here and there, I'm a huge Van Dyke fan, and so "Diagnosis Murder" is on top of my list. And now of course their new show, "Murder 101", but it doesn't air here in Germany, and I always have to see I get copies on video or DVD from somebody with Hallmark Channel.
What I really love to watch is documentaries. History is best, but I'm also glued to the TV if it's about making perfect coffee, or travel.
Shows I like are
Desperate Housewifes
Sex And The City
Friends
Monk
(There might be more)
And shows I really loath are
Dr. House
ER
Anything with CSI, or analogical abbreviations.

C-Span
Democracy Now
Free Speech TV
Lots of PBS, esp. Bill Moyers, Frontline, Independent Lens, P.O.V., Austin City Limits, Charlie Rose, The News Hour, Nature, Nova, Scientific American
Sundance-good documentaries, films
Independent Film Channel -good films, and Henry Rollins new season starts soon
AMC Series- Breaking Bad, Mad Men (new season this Summer)
Good music (usually=non-mainstream)
Discovery, History, Biography Channels
For lower-brow viewing: SQUIDBILLIES (hilarious), Wife Swap (lose I.Q. points just for watching), Supernanny, Deal or No Deal, Who Wants To Be a Millionaire, Jeopardy, Intervention, Judge Judy, Judge Joe Brown, Dr. Phil, night time talk shows- usually music guests at the end of shows only, a few shows on VH-1, MTV-2, Fuse
Does anybody else wish that HBO hadn't cancelled John From Cincinnati and Carnivale?
I'm in bed most of the time with a pressure sore, so I watch WAY too much TV and hang out on the internet a lot.

Shows I watch are: Sopranos (A&E); Law and Order; O'Reilly Factor; Hannity's America; Little People, Big World; Flip This House. Also watch Animal Planet, History Channel, Discovery Channel, PBS.
As to LP, I am glad they are on TV, no matter the family's intentention. Hope they make big bucks, why not? Wish there was a similair series for EC users.

Hoo, how come I didn't say a word about Star Trek?
Was my first love and sure will ever be. More or less.

Cash Cab, Jeopardy lost its apppeal when that guy kept winning, Weakest Link even though the host is a bitch, How Its Made, National Geographic & Science Channels Anything at Anytime, Adult swim especially Robot Chicken and that one where Erik Estrada does one of the voices and they're in an deep sea underwater city, Spongebob Squarepants because Plankton cracks me up, early Law and Order's sucked but now the writing is excellent (all of them), CSI Vegas only though, Scrubs even though this is the last season, Office when I'm home Steve Carrel is the perfect office jackass - every office has one. Never did care that much for Soprano's or show's where the main character is not a good or nice person, like the Shield or Closer nor did I care much for those teenage soaps like 90218, One Tree Hill or Dawson's Creek.
