Uh, maybe somebody can wake up the guy who is responsible to type in the forum statistics. He must have nodded off, because every time I check "The Longest Thread" still is the topic with the most replies, even though there are hardly any posts anymore.
And another thing is my post counter. I had that vague feeling that I'm stuck in the various landmrks (20, 30, 40 and so on) for surprisingly long periods of time, but only yesterday I checked in earnest.
I made 17 posts, but only 11 of them showed up on my counter.
So, the race for the next 1000 posts is on, and I am disabled from the start. :(

I'll look into the first thing, in regard to the second part sometimes there is a lag on your posts showing up on your individual post counter, but I don't think that you actually lose posts or don't get credit for them.

I noticed that sometimes it takes some time for a post to register.
But I do lose posts. There is no way I can be stuck in the forties when I make more than 10 posts a day.

looks like you're in the 80's now, does that mean it's caught up or that you've been especially active today?

I started with 664 posts when I came back yesterday after my break.
The post count in the statistics said I made 17 posts, and today I added another eleven. So I figure I should be in the nineties.
I notice that the postcount in the statistics is kinda funny too, but I have a feeling that it's got something to do with how many posts are left from yesterday? Dunno.
So, I'll keep counting peas for today and see where it will lead.

hey, I just looked here 5 minutes ago and your avatar had changed--now it's back to normal. :) Hopefully the peas will all add up; looks like you'll easily beat me to 1,000 posts...
