As the hours passes and the weather changes yet again,I find myself in pain from my head
to my toes,
Feeling my plause behind my eyes and in my ears, tingling and swelling in every jiont,
spasums in every muscale,
unable to walk up right, let alone getting out of bed,
heating pads, ice packs, meds out the ying-yang,
Those around you calling you lazy, and sleepy heads for they can't see what's going on inside
you,
short and snappy,is your way for the day,You can't really find the energe for even light convertion
This is one of those days your not sure you even want to live,
AND IT"S ALL BECAUSE OF THE RAIN !!!!!!!!!!!!![:'(]
Sorry for your troubles Beck. Hang in there.
Becky
Yes, the weather changes often make me feel as if my head is in a vice grip!!
If anyone has any suggestions on how to weather the weather fluctions with less pain, please let me know
I too have a lot of pain when it rains, and don't want to get out of bed sometimes. I can relate to being called lazy and wish that sometimes they could take a walk in my shoes.
I have always reacted in many different ways to weather changes, and especially the changes in seasons. I ache and hurt unbelievably all winter, but especially when the temperature dips into the minus 20's (I'm in Northern Canada). I do hurt somewhat with rain, but not as bad as the winter hurts.
I go into allergy symptoms every spring and fall, and have to use a sinus spray at these times and also get a lot more migraines at these times of the year. My drs know that they will be prescribing more Imitrex than usual for me at these times of the year. I just get one after the other until the season finally settles in.
One thing I'm sure would help with this is to take a bath with Epsom Salts. It is said to be good for aching muscles, but I have been living with only a shower for the last two years. The good news, though, is that I am moving finally into subsidized housing and my new apartment will have a bathtub! Yeayyyyy!!! LOL I will let you know if I find relief from the Espom Salt bath or not........can't wait to try it!
Gentle Hugs,
Maggie
I'm pretty good with the pain in winter. In Minnesota once it is cold it stays - with mild fluctuations.
I'm going to try the epsom salt. I better grab it now that i am having a decent day!!
Thanks for the tip!
Wish we had some rain here...It's been dry as a bone....keep having to add water to my pool, but we are still about 3 weeks away from the summer thunderstorms..after that...welcome Hurricane Season!
