How to make your MAFOS/DAFOS/AFOS "cool"

  • I just wanted to share a tip I did when I was a kid (for those of you who are parents with kids in braces):

     

    I would put temporary tattoos on the outside of my MAFOS! You can buy wholesale lots on eBay....like 500 tattoos for $10.00. They are fun, and kids love to be able to "pick out" what the are going to put on their mafos----they can even match with themselves! They come off easilyl (with rubbing alcohol) and make the braces oh-so-less bland!

     

    (But now DAFOS come with all sorts of colored straps and stuff---I remember when all we could choose was WHITE or BEIGE!

  •  Hey that is a neat idea...need to do something with these ugly AFOs...Wife said she would get afriend to do fancy art on them but that never transpired
