    • Hello. I'm old but new :)  When health permits, I pop in and I must say Disaboom has growwn heartily. Glad to see so many involved and actually talking about issues that should be spoken about. In my day, 'centuries' ago, lol, we kept quiet, hardly made a peep, kept a stiff upper lip, usually others grinned while we tried to bear it.

I'm an advocate/activist for 35 years, been through a major part of breaking the silence as well. Now we are faced with an even more discomforting issue, locally as well globally. That of the harvesting, selling of organs and tissues. Why I know, is because I am waiting for a transplant for almost seven years. It has not been easy for I have faced many other formidable issues of life as well compounded disabilities, by human kind as well in life. Still for most, we get up and get on with life, where possible. I'm a realist and know there will be no donor for me, but in the time I have left, I use my life, my time, my energies to make sure I pass on what I have learned through life's lessons and also offer uplift to those who think it's all over. It's not over till you close your eyes and go home.

One of the major issues of the day for transplant patients is where to find an organ or tissue, or both. Many have been lured to countries and nations outside the United States or their home nations. Many have gone to India, Mexico, and yes, to Communist China. Many have had those bills sent back to the United States for their insurance companies to 'take care of', or for Medicare to. [Folks, Medicare is paid out from public monies, yours and mine]. But no more. Governments are now closing the doors to all who seek to go outside the United States for organs, tissues, or transplant surgeries. But as you will find in my writings, what has been transpiring for over ten years, (ongoing abuses, torture, mass murder since 1948)in mainland Communist China. [The deflection of the Chinese Communists stance when this subject matter comes up is very limited if not at all]. In terms of the Olympics for 2008 Beijing Olympics, they would have you think that their accord for human life is pristine. It is not. There are well over 7,000 concentration camp gulags, with slave labor, ages youth to elderly, children being born in them as well.

What is alarming, that there is a group of quiet, unasuming Chinese peoples called the Falun Gong. They have been arrested for being 'falun gong members'. [an exercise-mind body exercisers] who usually have met in town squares to do their daily exercises. Over 80 million peoples and more joined. The Chinese Communists became alarmed that there were that many members, and fearing over throw, begin beating them in public, arresting them and throwing them into concentration camps, torturing them, starving and trying to make them re-nounce their affiliation to Falun Gong. These were doctors, lawyers, professionals, all walks of life, genders, etc. Those who did escape suffered life-long catastrophic disabling issues, and or soon after died from them. Many have been specifically chosen for their organs and tissues, then by camp guards shreaded by a sharp knife ripped open for their organs. Many from head to toe, including corneas, lungs, livers, skin. These were immediately rushed to waiting wealthy Chinese Communist party members or their families waiting for transplant organs and tissues; many are from outside China, and very wealthy patients from abroad, some knowing, some not, gaining that organ or tissue so they can live on. The Chinese Communists charge exorbatent prices, and if they can will hold the patient hostage to gain a bit more monies.

I decided whether I live or die, we as peoples with disabilities, and those of us waiting for transplant donors can use our lives effectively if only to gather individuals, and communities of disabled lives to join with us in signing a universal petition. I am looking to find 1 million signatures or more before August 1, 2008. As the most vulnerable of our societies and nations, we need not wait for nations, leaders, or goverments to push us to do something each of us knows must be addressed as free human beings adults and youth.

Else why do we even have websites as this? Hooray for Disaboom and the freedom it allows us to speak out.

Don't know much about making websites, or have any degrees or am noted anywhere. I just know when someone from the United States, travels all the way to Communist China seeking the organs and tissues of those who have been mutilated, tortured, killed for their organs and tissues, it's time for every day decent folks to become involved.

The Chinese Communists have told me to 'watch out' that this is none of my business! They told me not to bother with this for they want to make sure the Beijing Olympics goes on. They also have deflected these issues and others by saying I and others don't like them. We have told them we love the Chinese peoples and their children, we are not happy with the human rights, disabled rights violations they are in continuance in.

I think we very much need to stand together and prove the Chinese Communists wrong. What they have been doing has been going on long before the Olympics were given to them. But what bothers many of us in the disabled community IS why any one or group heading the Olympics, would give a nation with such stark human rights violations without reasonable accountability to hold these important games?

Please help me and others to show as free peoples we do not and will not condone such atrocities any where. How can a nation as that say they are honored to hold the Olympics, when they do not honor human kind at home? Go back and read China's history from 1948, it is anything but a plesant reading where human rights are concerned!

Got to go and lay down, but again, remember all those who went to Mainland China who took those surgeries of transplant for organs and tissues, paid for everything, and now have no follow-up. Think again about the countless toys sent with lead on children's toys for our children here in the United States, and globally.

Lastly, we can't forget those of us on dialysis who use heprin in our gain of dialysis to stay alive. The Chinese Communists have no policy in place to watch the drugs and or products that are sent from Communist China. Over 81 people died from the Heprin they sent. Instead of using something I believe they said cost $90 to add to the Heprin, they used an additive that cost $9.00. They cut corners to make money at the cost of American lives.

If you think I am ranting for nothing, ask the families of those 81 lives who were murdered.

Yes, trade with the Chinese Communists have been great for all in receivership of those monies coming in non-stop, but for those at home, the monies going into Communist China, is not profiting the peoples themselves. I think as a nation and as a peoples here at home, we need to look again at what the cost of business really costs human lives. We really need to address our leadership as well......? Sanctions and boycotts have been started for lesser crimes.

We either live with conscience, or ask ourselves, why on earth are we telling everyone, including outside these United States, we lead for freedom's sake?

Life is truly difficult these days, but to make it that much more complicated and continue to do business with the devil, bothers me as many other Americans. Disabled or not, we must stand together and speak with one accord. Stop the selling, and harvesting of organs and tissues. More importantly stop the disabling, torture, and mass murder of innocent human beings !

So if you have time, again go to: http://www.petitionsite.com/petition928204536

Together we just might be able to put a light on this issue and halt the genocide, continuing in Communist China. Health permitting I will go, and welcome anyone else wishing to stand with me in saying No more!

David Kilgour and David Matas in Canada are working round the clock to bring as much public attention as possible to this critical issue. I'm working here with Falun Gong members to help by doing this petition to bring attention. We need all the help possible, so please just one small signature for human kind.

I know someday the peoples of China and her children will be free, and they will be eternally thankful for those of you courageous to step forward and sign this document. The only way peoples under such a terrible governing action is to show the leaders they are held hostage under, is to show what we must do as the most vulnerable of all societies can do, and that is to shame the Communist Leadership.

We can't and must not let any disability to silence us and say it is not our business. This can't be forgiven if they will not take responsibility for their actions. We believe it is a higher count, but to date 47,670 people have been violated, murdered for their organs and tissues.

If this transpired in any of our free countries, and it was one or more person(s) caught as a murderer, we would apprehend the criminal(s), bring them before a court of law, sentence them appropriately. So what do we do in terms of what is transpiring in Commuist China?

Thanks for your ears and your heart. God Bless !
