    • my name is toni,i have ms since 1998.i have a lot of relapses sincethen but the worst was in oct.2007 of which i washospitalized twice.the last relapse made me immobile that i developed pneumonia.my neuro;ogist orderd for me to have iv immunoglobulin which i have continued w/ imuran since being discharged from the hospital.do you think i should incease my dose of rebif from 22 mcg gto 44 while on imuran? rebif gives me the worst flu like symptoms(of which i know is anexpected side effect.

    • Perhaps I am reading you wrong here, but I do not think that the bulletin board is the place to question your dosage level.  I truly believe that is something that we cannot tell you, and in fact only an MD is licensed to prescribe for you.  With the questions you have, why not get a second or third opinion from other neurologists, as they will be able to really evaluate your physical conddition and situation.  Best of luck.

    • I am not familiar with imuran, but imagine that there is a reason behind you not being on the full dose of Rebif. I am taking 44mcg and I have not experienced any of the flu-like symptoms during my course of treatment. Talk to your doctor and be open and honest with him about everything. He is the one person who can change your dosage if he deems it ok. Best of luck
