I've ridden both. If you are racing, you want the Shark S. I think it's faster. But if not, the Shark can serve you well and it's a little cheaper.
As for donating your old Invacre, Great idea, but can I suggest that you find someone outside the VA. Don't get me wrong. Our vets deserve only the best. They deserve even more than we are giving them, but in the VA there is a process for them to get equipment. I think the best idea for you older cycle would be to put the word out at local bike shops and websites for someone that would like to get into handcycling and cannot afford or has the resources to get one. The biggest problem in our community with people that want to get started in any sport is the cost of equipment. At the same time, many disabled folks have racing chairs, basketball chairs, handcycle, etc, etc.... sitting around their basements and garages not doing anything. .
Someday, I'm hoping to start an equipment exchange website. Perhaps Disboom can pick up that idea and run with it.

I have seen that from Bike-on and I intend to buy my bike from them. But I have been searching for a more detailed list. The bikes seem the same except for a couple of pounds. Even the sunrise medical web site does not tell me what the differences are.
I was wondering if one of you guys that have these fast handcycles could take some pictures and measurments? I am cleaning up my garage and collecting bicycles so I can start building one for myself since there is no way I would be able to afford one of those, but I do have a welder...lol. Thanks
Also, how do you get in and out of these? If there is anything you would change what would it be?
