All I've ever worn is total contact hard suction sockets. The one I'm wearing now is an ischial containment, NSNA socket, and I got a good fit. No problems once you get used to it. If you get a good fit, you may find that your thigh muscles will bulk up a bit from working more. Personally, I think that's a good thing, it gives better control.
I've never used the Iceross, but that's because my stump is too long for most knee units, and the shuttle on an Iceross adds too much length. If you're worried about it, it probably won't hurt to carry some lube to be able to put the leg back on.
