i suffer with depression,anxiety,and facial/trigeminal nerve pain,and,as we all know,medication doesn't mean miracle cure.today when i got home from running errands i heard on the news that ted kennedy had to be airlifted to a hospital in mass. --they think he had a stroke.i want to cry---he is a strong voice needed badly for the working class,disabled,and the poor.to lose mr. kennedy would be not only a personal tragedy for his family,but also for us all.the current administration is greedy,ungodly,and evil---i'm very very afraid......ted kennedy is a fighter for justice and mercy in a government full of selfish,money grubbing,warmongers.god,buddha,mohammed or whichever higher power you believe in--help us all.

thank you,dr. house---i was wondering if you perhaps had any speculations as to his condition.i know that may be a silly question,since you don't know the details--medical history,medications he's on,etc.,so excuse me if i'm just being stupid.i'm just very concerned--no,really concerned.plus,my mental illness takes my mind to some negative places,and i sometimes overly react emotionally.i did just hear he is talking and joking with family members.he's been a sort of hero to me throughout the years coming from a working class family.whenever i hear him speak or read about him it gives me hope that there is someone in a position of power fighting for justice and equality for ALL.thank you again for responding.
Thank you Dr. House for providing the update link. Senator Kennedy was, and remains in my prayers, but knowing that the condition does not appear as serious as first thought is certainly a comfort. Bonnie

In 1985, Dodd and fellow Senator Ted Kennedy were out, with dates, for a night on the town at La Brasserie. Much liquor was consumed--that will come as a shock to those of us familiar with Ted Kennedy--and the two Senators were at one point unaccompanied by their dates. The Senators made a "Waitress Sandwich" out of some poor, unsuspecting waitress. If you're not entirely sure what that means, let's just say you wouldn't want to be the waitress.
I wish him well, but it's time for him to leave office and for people to stop thinking of him as some morally perfect person. His brother would be humiliated at his actions.

look,first of all,i am not that naive,or that young.i DO know what that means,and to be quite frank-i was in the sex business when i was younger.i'd give more details,but i wouldn't want to offend or shock anyone.perfect--no,mistakes,yes.i lived an absolutely immoral life myself but i believe in forgiveness,and the terrible things he did in his personal life do not take away his political accomplishments.i'm glad for those of you who kept to the straight and narrow,but instead of attacking those of us who've fallen from grace,be appreciative of your clean,honest,morally upstanding lives.

JFK and MARTIN LUTHER KING JR.---both men were adulterers.no,i do not think it's morally ok to screw around on one's spouse.however,as i said,it doesn't automatically wipe out someone's accomplishments if they don't adhere to certain morality codes.i personally don't know of any human being who is perfect,in any way.
