I've reviewed that product for Lakshmi.
You'd be better off utilizing a book from say Sam Dwokris Extension Yoga (has MS) or Eric Small's MS & Yoga....I know MS and CP are different, but what you might benefit most from are learning to "listen" to the subtle bioinformation available to you through a yoga practice that isn't pointed to in the Chair Yoga DVD.
Also consider buying www.matthewsanford.com 's book "Waking" ....Matt and I are doing research in MN at www.courage.org with people with CP, SCI, TBI etc on their becoming the first mindbody rehab center in the country.
Yoga doesn't equal all the posture based athleticism its marketed as in the US.
Hope this helps.
Yoga has been suggested to me by multiple people to help with my MS muscle soreness and spasticity. I really want to give it a go and Yoga-followers always swear by it
After years of not sitting indian-style, I tried it a few years ago, and to my surpize, I could still do it! I try to do it a few times a week just to strech my legs, and work on balence, but only a minute or two. I'm a little scared I might pull something I shouldn't being almost 50, but the feeling is great that I can still do it!
Way to go Tom!
Thanks!
