SERIOUSLY, HE'S CLAIMED THERE'S A LANGUAGE BARRIER, BUT OFFENSIVE IS OFFENSIVE IN ANY LANGUAGE!

It never entered my head that he might be able bodied. (Hope I got the abbreviation right here.)
But he sure is not interested in decent discussions about disabilities. He just wants to promote his queer ideas, and he sure seemed to have expected us to cheer and take him on our shoulders and carry him through the streets in a triumph procession, possibly with confetti coming down in buckets.
And I so wonder if he has the faintest idea what "dignity" means.

i just keep thinking that no language barrier causes this much misunderstanding....

So I stop by on my "quest for information" and find this discussion. Then I had to do some searching to figure out what it was about. I guess I'm confused about the intention behind this person's posts.
Discussion boards are meant to be places where information and ideas can be exchanged, and yes even debated. But these posts do not contribute to the community in any way. What are we supposed to take away from this conversation? What have we learned? I'm all about the quest for information and find nothing of value in this person's posts.
We all have freedom of speech (unless it's slander) so I suppose he's entitled to put up whatever garbage is running through his mind. But I know I'll not be reading nor commenting on his posts. Since they don't add value to the community, they are not worth my time -- period.
I'll just hit the "mute" button when I see something written by Diginity-For-All.

Bea, I think that´s the smart thing to to.
When D-For-All started posting I think we were quite confused, but willing to get what was behind it. And I think that guy that guy simply has disqualified himself by now.

i've been letting myself get all het up (us good southerners know what that means!:D) over this guys comments, and finally debbie called me and was like, dude just ignore him, he's a whack-job (not her exact words, i'm paraphrasing!) for whatever reason, ignoring him didn't occur to me, but once i realized, duh! i felt much better.

Sharon, I like Your wording. As I said, I´m a word geek, and I´m taking copious notes here.
