Wow, that's pretty cool, Debbie! Becky, I saw that Wanted got great reviews, I was thinking of checking it out at some point myself.

Debbie, give my compliments to the screenwriter then!  I did not see Children of Men but my brother thought it was an amazing movie.  I saw Ironman, and his screenwriting was brilliant and funny.  Those one liners just kill me, especially Tony's cocky, self-absorbed quips before he is captured and Pepper's 'trash' conversation with the female reporter.  Awesome!

That is so cool! I haven't seen "Ironman" and will probably just wait for the DVD. I did see "Children of Men" though and it was a really good movie. I didn't like the end though.

Great! It will be nice to talk to him.

How do you guys feel about the new "Mummy" movie, without Rachel Weisz in it? Seems to me, why bother make the movie at all? Without the chemistry of the two of them, I don't know. I've seen the trailer and the new girl sounds like Rachel. I'll probably just wait and rent it. I loved the other two "Mummies!"

    •  That's really cool, Debbie! Thanks for letting us know.

Becky, I was surprised they were even coming out with another one, I didn't know they were until I saw a movie poster when I was at the movies a couple weeks ago. That's kind of sad RW won't be in it, especially since they made the first couple with the entire original cast - I don't know if I'll end up seeing it or not, maybe when it comes out on video. Sometimes they just need to stop making sequels. :P

    • Personally, I can't wait to see Dark Knight.  Heath Ledger was -and is- one of my all time favorite actors and I've heard that his performance was Oscar-worthy.  I also want to see Wanted, not so much for the story line but because I'm a bit obssessed with James McAvoy Broken Heart.

I've heard that too, Hannah. I think it comes out this week so it'll be interesting to see! I've only seen James McAvoy in one movie - Atonement. Depressing movie (but he did a good job!).

He is a cutie, and I'm a sucker for a Scottish accent. Too young for me though! Where's Braveheart when you need him? LOL. Another movie he's in is "The Last King of Scotland." Very good movie, and true too. It's about the doctor who was Idi Amin's personal physician. It's creepy what power can do to people.

    • Totally agree with you Becky.  Last King of Scotland was amazing and I heard that his next biggest role will be the lead in "The Hobbit" directed by Guillermo del Toro.  It will be years til then, but I can't wait.

    •  Oh really, he's going to be in the Hobbit? The lead, so is he playing Bilbo?

    • I was surprised and rather saddened that Peter Jackson isn't directing "The Hobbit." Don't know what happened there, but I just loved the LOR trilogy and the way Jackson directed it.

I have a hard time seeing him as Bilbo, but who knows? I won't judge before I actually see the movie.

      Yes, he does equal perfection!

    • Just caught the premier of "The Dark Knight" at midnight... phenomenal movie! Heath Ledger's performance as the Joker will both amaze you and leave you feeling a disturbed. He certainly raised the bar for any future comic book movie villains. This is, without a doubt, the best movie of the year.

I highly recommend you all go see it!
