I am in full support of this being legalized period. This is a law an unfair law I know there is a lot of negativity attached to it I read down below about people wasting there lifes away which is not always the norm. Recently I read an article on line they did a study on middle class surbuban wives and mothers over half of them smoked on a regular basis which may mean once a month or more.
Any one can go over board with any kind of mood altering chemicals anyone can. I am one of millions out there that smoke I feel strongly about this not so much on the basis of medicinal or not just because it is unjust. Cannibis is the only drug if you want to call it that is able to be picked and smoked nothing done to it not unless that is your intention. It was here before us it will be here after us and in many ways is way better than alcohol yet alcohol is legal.
Back in the prohibition days alcohol was considered illegal yet today it is not this is a drug that does destroy so many lives but everyone's concern is about cannibis. There are some who abuse there are many different reasons for this mostly internal not because of the "drug" They have an addictive personality and if it was not this it would be something else.
I have no script for my use in fact even if I could I would not out of principle of it all. I am an active supporter for it. I am disabled I have ptsd and bi-polar those are my major disabilities and even my doctors have said if it helps me relax do it in moderation. I can be high strung naturally and if this manages to reduce some of that without putting me in a zombie state I opt for that.
A lot of the meds which many can tell for varuios diseases or disabilities can leave one drained and unfunctionable. Yet these are legal yet because some government tells me it is not I should forget my beliefs and just cave in and follow without following my beliefs this is not who I am normally, even if I was not a smoker I would feel the same.
For those out there that think all pot smokers are lazy shiftless unproductive members of society this is not always the case. If you would meet me you probaly would never know. I am very successful have had management positions I have gone to college with a 4.0 average. For the few who ruin it for everyone they would do this with or without cannibis.

Currently 20 onces of medical cannibis is allowed per 60 days.My condition of a spinal cord injury qualified me right away. It can be renewed every year for $200.00.There is still one problem.it is still a federal offense. If you grow it you can have so many flowering plants.Well that is it for know contact me if you need any more info or testimonials re: its use.Nicoletti

I totally agree it should be legal. I have less pain and stiffness, and it helps to relax my mind, I am extremely irritable and nervous most of the time, and being like that all the time just takes too much out of my life. I have never driven, stolen, or hurt anyone while using, and I definately have witnessed a lot of that from alcohol users. When is someone going to wake up about all this?!??

I have fibromyalgia. A yr&1/2 ago I lost everything-my house,$, & health insurance. I'm living in temporary housing. A neighbor offerred me weed. I can't smoke. She made me some weed cookies. They were a life saver. I hadn't slept in so long, I'd given up. I no longer have access to them, nor do I have any pain meds. Any hope I may have had, is now gone. In CA, medical marijuana is legal. However, it's very exspensive & therefore out of my reach. It costs at least $250 to get a "prescription" from a Dr to even purchase it. Also, even tho it's legal here; the Feds can still arrest you.
So needless to say: MARIJUANA SHOULD BE LEGALIZED!!!

Should be legalsised for medicinal uses, most defintely! Works really well in brownies or tea if you dont want to smoke it. Havent heard the cover for "Smoke Two Joints", but its one of my favourite Bob Marley songs! And you dont have to be smoking weed to like his music...I loved all his music long time before I ever was "converted" from what I used to think about weed before I started getting pain ;)
