I used to have a life threatening heart birth defect that caused me to have racing heart.
The last time I had an attack they had to stop my heart and restart it again.
Finally after two exploratory elecrical angio procedures I had two angio ablation procedures that fixed my problem.
I had amazing happiness when they fixed my problem but eventually other problems came along to replace it!
I have found my most happiest peaceful times is when I write my piano instrumentals or write my poetry. I play piano by theory alone having learned by listening to celtic tunes note by note enough to venture off with my own style.

I also have my own poetry on http://www.poetry.com artist search Polly Pearsol.
I wish for all disabled people to find a way like I have to be more happy, and the other thing most important that you have people who understand to talk with. Please right me if you want to.
peace always
Polly

I wish we could re-print your Post every day! You have found one of the very best ways to handle the issue of disability that there is--a way to live with yourself and outside of yourself at the same time.
Music is so helpful there is a whole field of treatment called "music therapy," and you have discovered it by yourself, and found the path to serenity through it. How wonderful can that be!
"Getting on With It," is the way to move forward into the next phase of our lives, and art, and particularly music, help us transcend the moment and allow us that forward movement to the next step. I am SO glad you shared this with us, and so glad you have found it for yourself.
My very best wishes, and CONGRATULATIONS on finding a way to move beyond the issues that bog down so many for years and perhap their whole lives. It is so easy to get "stuck." You have transcended that through your discovery, and it is a wonderful note to hear. Love, bonnie
