Re your prior post: Olivette, be careful. That's tempting the feds, who can arrest you for even the slightest intimation of harm to the Chief. Just a heads up. This is Obama territory, so we're probably safer than on other websites.

Olivette Turbeville: If Bill Clinton was indited and nearly impeached for covering up an illicit blow job. What then, might we imagine, would be an equivalent consequence for this president considering his civil abandonment in the gulf following Katrina, or this idiotic war? His too little too late handling of 911, and the list goes on.... Therefore, if Bush faced judgement for his Presidential abilities (rather than his previous drink & drug behavior) we'd still be forced to lynch him wouldn't we? (Comparatively speaking of course.) *a rhetorical thought*

Exactly my point. Except I should have said presidential dis-abilities. Very well said Justin. This country will be so much better off when he's gone and we have a new president, hopefully Obama! Which reminds me, I've got to stop at the local Democratic office and get a yard sign!

Not to be rude, but when is he going to show presidential responsibilities?

Justin DeCastro:No, Tri-Dog, I have no respect for a "man" who lies to us, the American people, as well as to the whole world, just to drag us into one of his personal blood for oil wars. He is a shame and a liability to the nation.
Clinton has just as much into the oil fields with the Rockerfellers as the Bush's do, just they put everything in other people's names so when it goes south no one can link the problem to them.
Justin DeCastro:I have no respect for a "man" who was too busy partying to deploy directly to New Orleans every conceivable rescue effort and who sat on his butt for days before overseeing federal intervention into the situation.
When you have the Govenor of Louisiana telling you that everything is under control and FEMA telling you that everything is under control, what are you suppose to think? Read up a little more on the Katrina problems...
Justin DeCastro:I have no respect for a "man" who uses religion to prevent scientific headway from being made in stem cell research, which could be the hugest blessing to many a very ill and/or disabled American.
I will agree with you on this, but the majority of the American people feel the same way, he is just going for what the people want. Check out the votes. The bills that congress has tried to put through all had little things in them that needed to be changed, but istead of changing them and sending it back they just threw up their hands and said they tried so they would not look like the bad guys.
I am not a fan of Bush Jr either, but he was beter than the other evil choice we had at the time to choose from. I am still not sure about the Obama vs McCain debate yet, I am just happy Hillary is out of it now...lol.

Dude, regardless of what anyone was telling George W. Bush about the situation in New Orleans at the time, the frikkin media sure as hell was not depicting it as "under control." CNN was at it 24/7 and things looked very bad to anyone else who was watching the unfolding drama. Why couldn't Bush see that himself? Doesn't he have TV? lol
If the president of the United States couldn't "get" that things were grave in New Orleans, that people remained stranded on their roof-tops and begging for help, that the pets of the well-to-do were being rescued BEFORE Black folks were paid any mind (adding insult to their suffering), that the civil emergency situation required the direct and immediate attention of authorities at the very highest federal level, then George W. must've been in a black-out (one giant slip for that smirk-faced drunk!). If he had cared, he would've taken more of a proactive role in getting relief out there. He didn't do shit!
Most folks of color can figure it out. The vast majority of people left in New Orleans after the white folks split in their SUVs were black and poor. You better believe we know what happened there. It's called white skin privilege and it's as real today as it has always been -- from cotton slavery to wage slavery -- in our "democracy."
George W. has earned the wrath of the people here and around the globe. So has his cohort Cheney -- the guy who used the "F**K" word in the U.S. Senate and thereby made it "okay" so that kids today use the term generously.
Impeach Bush & Cheney!
