How much time you spend online doing personal business every day?
Think about what you do...
* Answering E-Mail
* Instant Messaging
* Education and Training
* Managing Personal Financial (banking/paying bills)
* Shopping
* Uploading Picture, Video and Audio Files
* Reading Articles, Blogs and Books
* Spending Time on Community Sites such as Disaboom!
before disaboom less than 2 hrs..now?????????? lol hi lily hope you're having a great day.
hmm..my time spent online completely depends on the day of the week! If I'm working at the hospital-I have a cram session of around an hour if I'm lucky but on weekends I like to catch up-I'll try to figure on the average I guess.
Well I use my computer more than most I guess. I should have said over 8 hours but sometimes less. I watch the stock market just about all day and am online most of the time, I can't hang in front of the CRT, but it is streaming info. I also order stuff and look up information all the time. What a tool!!!
It really depends on how i feel that particular day. If i'm having a good day i usually spend between 6-8 hours, sometime more. I surf constantly, love to shop, love to chat w/friends and it gets my mind off of my pain for a short period if i involve myself in something interesting. I also have short term memory loss from my stroke and concentrating is good therapy for the brain.
There's really nothing better to do in my town (other than drink..lol) so I'd have to admit to the 6 to 8 hours group. Maybe I'll find more folks from NC and it will drop....maybe....lol
I am a Moderator at a different forum web site and I am just starting to design web sites and market them - so I would say 6 - 8 but I would like it to be more lol But my back can only sit like this for so long and I am still a dinosaur and using a desk top computer ;)
As a college student, I leave my internet on for most of the night or when I am in my room. But if you count the actual minutes of activity online it'd probably be about 4-6hours (depending on the day, week, etc). Next week is finals, so we'll see how dedicated I can be to my studies.....
I have a home based business and sell my products (mostly cookbooks I've written) online as well as doing my product and writing research online. I also do most of my banking and shopping online as I live in the boonies about 20 miles from town and gas is so outrageously expensive. There's no public transport here. Between business, email, reading news, online books and articles, reading and writing blogs, banking, shopping, and posting and watching videos, well, I'm online nearly all day!
hey carol cool what kind of cookbooks do you sell? any vegetarian ones or dessert ones?
If the stars align long enough for my cell signal, security suite, and antiquated PC to collaborate rather than collude, then I might bounce around online all day. Lately, however, nothin' s cooperating, so frustration determines duration...My next check arrives Wednesday, so I'll soon be reporting on the qualities(?) of the Geek Squad!
Well, before Meniere's I was a software engineer; because CRT flicker can trigger attacks I now spend very little time on the computer, online or not. Most of my time is spent reading and cooking.
What's with this page? My photo seems to be next to someone else's post.

In fact, this post from Speedbump is attributed to me on the page display!
